A few years ago I got a 3D printer. An Original Prusa i3 mk2. I was a bit unsure at the time if it justified the cost. But I love it.
Mostly I make useful objects. It's excellent for making things that would be hard to buy or make any other way.
I like to use OpenScad create designs. It's programming language based, which makes it cumbersome for artistic work but good for precision parts. More than that it appeals to the engineer in me.
Here are just a few of the things I've made
